Eating from my pantry week 2 and walking to work + results from last week

I only walked 1 day last week.  I either had too much to carry to work, or had to pick up something (one day...boxes) from work so it would have been harder to walk.

Last week's menu and how we did:
Sunday lunch (11/25): chili and cornbread (meat, bell peppers, tomato & onion from freezer; beans (canned and dried from pantry); cornbread (from the Mungers..they were joining us for lunch) check!
Monday (11/26): Black bean burgers (freezer); acorn squash (freezer); couscous (pantry) and fruit (from Bountiful Baskets 2 weeks ago...now ripe) We moved the chili and cornbread here from Wed.
Tuesday (11/27): white bean (dried, pantry) & ham hock (freezer) soup; fruit (counter: I had gotten some fruit this weekend) Ran out of time for this, so  I made a black bean soup with stuff from the pantry & Dave made quesadillas  from stuff from the frig...not the menu, but still from the pantry.
Wednesday (11/28): Chili ; Cornbread (leftover from Sunday) We moved the black bean burger meal (minus the acorn squash) here
Thursday (11/29): Breakfast for Dinner (we always have a lot of breakfast stuff....probably potatoes (from Bountiful Baskets) & eggs)check!
Friday (11/30): dinner out with Sunday School class.  I'll bring some dessert to share (from pantry)check! except we brought chips and salsa.
Saturday (12/1): dinner out with youth group. check!

OVERALL:  We did ok, but we did run to the store for some bananas and a few other things.  I also saw a great sale on shrimp that I'll be serving at one of my family holiday meals so I got that along with some other things for the meals.  We spent way over the $10, but under what we normally spend for the week.

MENU: WEEK 2
Sunday (12/2): Leftover white bean soup with salad (from Bountiful Baskets).  I had made it on Wednesday for lunches, but there is enough left for dinner today!
Monday (12/3): Black bean soup (from last Tuesday) with Quesadillas & salad.
Tuesday (12/4): Tostados (from pantry and freezer), squash (Bountiful Baskets) & salad.
Wednesday (12/5): Fish tacos (freezer)
Thursday (12/6): Dinner at a church function
Friday (12/7): Dinner at a work function
Saturday (12/8): Dinner out with the Jr. Highers from the youth group

I am going to try to walk to work again this week.  :)  I'll let you know how it goes.  This week we really shouldn't have to go to the store at all (unless I see a few more things on sale for my holiday meals), so we should do well on the food budget for this week.  I will probably order Bountiful Baskets again for the fresh fruit and veggies.
